And photographed the whole time. The dentist, Dr. Alper was very accepting of the camera (and the flash) during his anesthetizing and drilling. I just held the wide angle above my head and shot blindly. I think I made him fuck up though, cause one of my teeth really hurts.
Most personal photojournalism I've seen. Only way to top this would be to photograph a childbirth - your own.
