Mr. Parker Burma turns a very esteemed one year old!

This past month, I had the wonderful assignment of photographing my dear old friend Amanda Burma's son, Parker. Parker is also the nephew of my best childhood friend, Beth. Throughout the course of a couple of weeks around his first birthday, I truly enjoyed the opportunity to photograph little (BIG) Parker in action with some (but not all) of the people who love him so much...take a look!

Babes Around Denver First Friday!

For the first time in a few years, I photographed at the infamous Babes Around Denver's First Friday. (Back in the day, when my ex and I ran a photography studio together, we set up a travelling photo booth for December, complete with me as "dirty Mrs. Santa Claus. I don't play that role anymore.)

First Friday is the biggest women's dance party for all ages in the United States-which translates to adorable lesbian couples square dancing and beautiful little girls gossiping-bonding-breaking up-living amidst the gorgeous cinderblock murals that enclose the warehouse style club, Tracks, in industrial Five Points. A lot goes on at First Friday, and usually its a complete blur...but I always wake up to feel a slight shift after a wonderfully ridiculous evening.
